Company profile

Established in 1962, based just outside Padova, Italy, Continental had the production of machinery and equipment for building construction as its general objective. The Company’s origins, though, are to be found in the 50’s when its founder started his career in the construction industry patenting and manufacturing scaffoldings.

Continental pioneered the study and eventually the production of plaster-spraying equipment. Continued effort in improving the design and the manufacturing of plaster sprayers helped reaching such a good visibility and reputation on the market that the Company management decides to focus solely on this business.

Continued, extraordinary attention to design, material selection and accurate manufacturing processes, over the years have gained Continental’s products a reputation of reliability, which is still nowadays the Company banner. Product quality together with uninterrupted, quick customer support and assistance have been and still are the primary requirements of both domestic and international markets which are key to Continental success.

Uncompromised synergy among Engineering, Production and Commercial departments is the foundation of the Company today:

  • The Commercial Dpt. deals with product distribution to domestic and international dealers.
  • The Engineering Dpt. concentrates on product design and development coordinating internal and external designers.
  • The Production Dpt. focuses on product assembling and Quality control and employs only specialized personnel.

In order to fully meet market challenges and to sustain high-standard production, Continental relay on a number of carefully selected providers and subcontractors, picked for their high technological and quality standards.

Continental medium-small size together with its simple organization structure and frenzy-less production cycles provide the uncompromised, optimal flexibility to quickly incorporate technological upgrades into current products, comply with regulation changes or design brand new products altogether.

A large selection of spare parts and consumables is stored in-house which allows for daily overnight shipments to customers.

Continental has always been particularly focused on safety quality and reliability: its products bear CE markings since 1995. In 2001 the Company has been an early market adopter of a certified Quality System which, as of October 2003, complies with the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
